The UBI World Benchmark Study 2017 - 2018, sponsored by Cisco and powered by UBI Global, is the 4th edition of the most comprehensive benchmark study of university managed and affiliated business incubators and accelerators.

The study attracts more than 600 incubators and accelerators from over 70 countries to benchmark themselves against their peers, to become more efficient and competitive, and to enter the UBI Global world rankings and recognition of top-performing incubation programs.

Why Incubators Participate?

To Become more Efficient and Competitive

Third-party Assessment. The assessment is conducted for the 4th time by the Swedish-based research and advisory firm UBI Global, using a proprietary analysis framework developed in close collaboration with its research advisory board consisting of industry experts and thought leaders in the field.

Performance Analysis. Participating programs receive data-driven performance analysis in the form of intuitive scorecard infographics. The scorecard covers an overview of the program - to communicate and share with stakeholders at events, forums, on annual reports, and on social media channels.

Insights & Best Practices. Through different format such as publications, PPTs, webinars, workshops, white papers, guides and SaaS-tools, all participating programs are offered access to benchmarking data and educational material.

 

Rankings & Recognition. The study offers the opportunity to get nationally and globally recognized as a top performing institution among the world incubation community, and get highlighted by international press & media.

Corporate Visibility. The profiles of participating programs and their portfolios of startups are being promoted through various initiatives to multinational corporations that are seeking new technology, innovation, talent, and investment.

Network & Events. Participating programs are invited to one (1) international networking and recognition conference in 2017 and multiple regional and national events in 2018, to meet their peers, build international partnerships, exchange ideas and discuss current topics in the industry.
